Anxiety, Depression & Mood
Working with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief, excessive self-criticism, obsessions and compulsions, trauma, and mood difficulties. I combine skills-based approaches with psychodynamic understanding to address both immediate concerns and deeper recurring patterns.
Skills and Understanding Together
I aim to leverage the strengths of short-term, solution and skills-based approaches while acknowledging the unconscious aspects of repeating patterns. This means addressing immediate distress with practical strategies while also exploring the deeper dynamics that may be driving recurring difficulties.
Working with Anxiety & Panic
Anxiety can manifest in many forms — from generalised worry to specific phobias, panic attacks, obsessions and compulsions, or social anxiety. I work with you to understand both the surface-level triggers and the underlying patterns that maintain your anxiety, developing a collaborative approach to finding relief and new ways of responding.
Depression, Grief & Self-Criticism
Depression, grief, and excessive self-criticism can feel isolating and all-consuming. In therapy, we work to understand your experience in context — what has happened, what continues to trouble you — and develop both practical coping strategies and a deeper understanding of the patterns that keep you stuck.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma can leave lasting marks on how we experience ourselves and the world. I work with trauma from both evidence-based and psychodynamic perspectives, helping you process difficult experiences while attending to the ways trauma may be shaping your present relationships and sense of self.
